Aamir Khan’s Dangal to be remade on Colors; Contiloe to produce

MUMBAI: Dangal starring Aamir Khan became the talk of the town for introducing us to the story of world class wrestlers Geeta and Babita Phogat.

According to business degree exclusive information, plans are on to adopt the film into a TV series. As per our sources, Contiloe Pictures will produce the project on Colors.

A little birdie informs that Abhimanyu Singh, the head of Contiloe Pictures, is himself keeping a keen eye on the ambitious project.

According to an insider, the shooting will take place in Contiloe’s state-of-the-art production studio.

The casting for the TV version is yet to start. Now it will be interesting to see which actors bag the author-backed roles.

Contiloe Pictures, has produced over 100 television shows on Indian TV. Currently, they are producing Vighnaharta Ganesha (Sony TV), Tenali Rama (SAB TV) and the recently launched horror –episodic Kaun Hai (Colors).

We contacted Abhimanyu Singh for his comment and dropped him a text as well, but did not get any revert.
