It’s ‘Monsoon Special’ on Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs!


Amul Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs on Zee TV, India’s biggest singing reality show for kids is the No 1 non-fiction show this year and has once again, wowed audiences with its mind-blowing talent. This weekend on Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs, watch a tribute to monsoon that will have the tiny singing prodigies singing and dancing to popular rain songs of Bollywood. On Saturday, 15th July at 9:00 PM, get drenched in a downpour of melodious music as the brilliant kids of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa evoke a baarish walla maahol with their musical notes!
With the top 8 contestants dazzling in their thematic outfits, the first to take to the stage was the bundle of talent from Kolkata, Li’l Champ Riya Biswas who gave a marvellous performance on the popular number ‘Chhoti Si Kahani Se’. Next to perform was contestant Dhroon Tickoo. Touted as the reincarnation of Kishore Kumar, this Li’l Champ sang the popular romantic song ‘Aaj Rapat Jaye Toh Humein Na Uthaiyo’. So, impressed was mentor Neha with his performance that she said, “Dhroon you are ready for playback singing. You sing with absolute maturity and finesse”. While all the contestants’ energy was infectious and left the studio audiences spellbound, it was Li’l Champ Shanmukhapriya who stole the show as she sang ‘Bheegi Si Hai Raatein’. Known to be the yodeling queen, this little girl managed to impress mentors and jury so much that they all gave her a standing ovation. Tiny Jayash Kumar sang ‘Dum Dum Diga Diga’ and impressed everyone with his cute dancing moves and singing. Other spectacular performances that wowed the mentors and jury included Shreyan Bhattacharya who sang ‘Lagi Aaj Sawan Ki Phir Wo Jhadi Hai’, Sonakshi Kar who sang ‘Abke Sajan Sawan Mein’ and Yumna, who sang the beautiful track ‘Teri Meri Kahaani’.
