Star Plus’ show Do Dil Mil Rahe Hain based on the love story of childhood friends

Star Plus is all set to launch a new show Do Dil Mil Rahe Hain which will feature a new concept and fresh pair. The show is a tale about childhood friends Rishiraj and Priyadarshini, who are childhood sweethearts, whose long-lost love story will be re-written when they meet each other, years later. This new show, which is based on childhood love, stars Srijla Guha and Sean Banerjee in the lead roles.

An unexpected turn in their life, separates the two lovebirds. Years pass by, Rishiraj becomes an industrialist, going by the name of Rishi Sen, while Priyadarshini is now a tour guide going by the name of Pihu Mitra. The duo, who were once lovers, cannot stand each other now.  They share a past, nevertheless, that they are unaware of.

While the show timings are yet to be locked, we hear that the show is scheduled to air in the afternoon. Talking about the actors, both Srijla Guha and Sean Banerjee have made a mark in the Bengali industry but they would be marking their debut in the Hindi industry with this show.

Star Plus currently features some of the most popular shows like Anupama, Ghum Hain Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Faltu, Yeh Hai Chahatein, among others. The channel also launched a new show titled Titli earlier this weekend featuring Neha Solanki and Avinash Mishra.
