Former Vighnaharta Ganesha actress Akanksha Puri who recently made headlines with her collaborating with actor Randeep Hooda for an upcoming project was seen attempting a noble cause on the occasion of Mahashivratri.
The actress was seen distributing Khichadi and Thandai to the underprivileged people and children at her own temple in Indore on Mahashivratri. Best known for her mythological role as Maa Parvati this isn’t the first time that we have witnessed Akanksha performing a noble cause. She has been indulged in providing a helping hand to the needy ones and also contributing towards social welfare.
Sharing an incident about shooting on sets for Vighnaharta Ganesha and celebrating Mahashivratri Akanksha said, “Every year I use to get “Thandai “ made on set , it was a ritual that I followed every year on the sets on “Vighnaharta Ganesha. I was getting calls from my Ganesha family my set people since yesterday that they all will miss me n my special “ Thandai” this year. I so wish I could meet my Ganesha family today and have Thandai n khichri with them like every year I am genuinely missing all of them today !! This day was always special”
