MUMBAI: Some shows live in our minds and remain our favourites for life. Sony TV’s Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi will always be special for fans. The show had a wonderful concept, but the love of the audience isn’t limited to the show’s story.
It gave viewers one the most loved and beautiful on-screen pair of Erica Fernandes and Shaheer Sheikh who played Sonakshi and Dev, respectively. It has been almost a year since the show shut shop, and now, both actors are busy with their new shows.
But for Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi fans, Sona and Dev will always be their ideal favourite couple. Their on-screen chemistry owas so raw and real that there were rumours doing the round that the duo was in a relationship back then and had called quits after the show.
While talking to a leading publication, Erica denied that she and Shaheer were ever dating. She said that she and Shaheer were good friends and shared such a good chemistry because of their off-screen rapport. She further said that it is always important to share a comfort level with your co-actor and that she would love to hang around with Shaheer even now, but she is busy shooting.
Erica currently plays the lead role in Ekta Kapoor’s Kasautii Zindagii Kay, whereas Shaheer essays the lead role in Dastaan-E-Mohabbat Salim Anarkali.
