However, the actress took to social media to share a heartfelt post for her beloved pet, who passed away recently.
Sharing the news, she took to her social media sharing an adorable picture with her pug Donut stating “R.I.P. Donut. 2013-2021. See you on the other side my boy.”.
Akanksha is an animal lover and was very attached to her pet dog.
On the work front, Akanksha Puri made her debut in Bollywood with Madhur Bhandarkar’s Calendar Girls. She later went on to play the role of Goddess Parvati in Vighnaharta Ganesh. She became a household name due to the popularity of the character.
Akanksha quit the show last year and has featured in a few music videos during the lockdown. The actress is currently gearing up for a few web shows.
