“No foul play was found” – Police report about Siddhaanth Vir Surryavanshi’s death case

News

MUMBAI :TV Actor Siddhaanth Vir Surryavanshi passed away on Friday after suffering a heart attack while working out at the gym. It came as a shock for any, as he was loved for his work in the industry. The actor made his television debut with Kkusum, and was later seen in Krishna Arjun, Kasautii Zindagii Kay. He also appeared in TV shows like, Virrudh, Bhagyavidhaata, Kya Dill Mein Hai, Grihasti, Kyun Rishton Mein Katti Batti, and more.

After news of his passing away was made known, National award-winning filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri tweeted saying, “This is so tragic. The mad rush to build an aggressive body without any medical advice is so dangerous. Hyper-gymming is a relatively new phenomenon that got mad impetus due to Instagram. It needs to be regulated. Oh, Siddhanth…”

Cardiologist Dr Ganesh Kumar (not from the Andheri hospital where Surryavanshi was rushed to) said that even regular gymmers need to be careful to avoid physical exercises with only a few hours of sleep. The problem in doing this is that small plaque deposits in the blood vessels, that are considered benign (in comparison to well-defined blockages), can rupture with sudden activity. Be it gymming, running, or any form of high-stress activities. “It’s not advisable for people to undertake intense activity while eating almost nothing, or sleeping only for three hours,” he said.

The Oshiwara police registered an accidental death report. Later, Senior inspector Manohar Dhanwade said, “No foul play was found.”
